Migrate files to One Drive

These instructions assume you already have logged in to One Drive on your machine.  If you have not yet done so, you can follow these  instructions

Open File explorer by clicking on the folder in the task bar at the bottom of your screen

Right click on Your Name - Skagit Valley College

Select Open in New Window.  The new window will look something like the 2nd

Scroll down in the original file explorer window and select This PC.  Then Double-click on U Drive.  Then double click the Legacy My Documents folder

Double click on the folder with your name on it. Double click on Documents. 

This is where all your Windows 10 Documents folder files are retained.  You can use them directly from here, or migrate them to the One Drive folders by:

Select any of your documents from the EmpDoc window and then either Press Ctrl + A or Select Edit from the menu on the top, then select Select all from the dropdown to select all documents and folders.

Click and drag one of the selected files to the Documents folder in the One Drive window.  This will begin the copying process.  It may take a good deal of time, depending on the amount of data you are migrating.
